An important message from the City of Archie:
The City of Archie, in accordance with Ordinance No. 389, will be placing one-way and Do Not Enter signs along the roadway of N. Iowa Street today (See attached diagram). The enforcement of this ordinance regarding signage will begin Monday, January 12, 2026.

This should not interfere with the school’s arrival and dismissal procedures. #ArchieStrong

Our future Whirlwind cheerleaders performed at the basketball game this evening. A big shout-out to our varsity cheerleaders for their leadership and instruction at camp this week! #ArchieStrong

The girls’ and boys’ varsity teams beat the Osceola Indians this evening. The JV girls played a quick quarter. Our mini cheerleaders put on a great performance for the big crowd! #ArchieStrong

A HUGE thank you to the Peculiar Charitable Foundation for their extremely generous donations for our (soon to be open) daycare project and for student lunch balances! We are so grateful for their partnership!

Basketball game tonight! Come out to the dome tonight to watch some Archie basketball! All games are in the dome with girls varsity starting @ 5:30pm with 1 QTR of JV and Varsity Boys to follow! There will be a mini cheer performance during the halftime of the boys game as well!

We want to share an update with our school community. EMTs were called to the school today to assist a staff member who experienced a health concern. We are happy to report that she is doing well and all is well at the school. The safety and well-being of our staff and students is always our top priority. Thank you to our local EMTs for their prompt response and care!

Archie high school fall athletes were recognized for their many accomplishments tonight.

All wins tonight at Lakeland! JV girls, varsity girls and varsity boys all won vs. the Vikings. Back in action Friday vs. Osceola at home.

Families with children not yet in Kindergarten are invited to the Archie Parents as Teachers Stretch 'N Grow event on Wednesday, January 14th at 6pm in the West Gym. Coach Patty visits once a year to lead the children through structured gross motor play. Come join the fun!

Congratulations to the varsity girls, JV girls, and varsity boys for bringing home three wins vs Midway tonight! Come cheer on the Whirlwinds at Lakeland tomorrow night!

1st year members of the Archie FFA Chapter traveled to the Missouri State Fairgrounds today to participate in the Area 7 FFA Greenhand Conference. During the conference, members got to learn about opportunities in the FFA as well as set goals for their FFA Career

Congratulations to our Middle School and High School December Students of the Month, Charlie Snook and Ethan Robling! These students were selected for consistently demonstrating the character trait of compassion. Through their kindness, empathy, and willingness to support others, they have made a positive impact on their peers and our school. We are proud to recognize them for setting an example of caring and respect for those around them. Keep up the great work! #ArchieStrong
