The end of the year was filled with celebrations, introductions, and goodbyes. During our end-of-year assembly, we recognized Student of the Year, Mark Twain Reading Award recipients, Whirlwind Buck winners, Perfect Attendance Award recipients, art and PE recognitions, and You Matter Archie birthdays. We wrapped up the school year with Meet Your Teacher. The elementary looked a little different this year as we packed up in preparation for upcoming summer work. Thanks to the support of our voters, preparations for summer projects required packing entire classrooms and spaces. Thank you again for your continued support and investment in our students and schools. We also extend our appreciation to the middle school and high school students and staff who helped move furniture and prepare for the transition. A special shout-out goes to our staff members who balanced end-of-the-year responsibilities while taking on additional tasks to help make everything run smoothly. We recognized our Elementary Teacher of the Year, Becky Petty, Middle/High School Teacher of the Year, Taylar Mooney, and Support Staff Member of the Year, Andrea Stottlemyre. Congratulations to Taylar Mooney on also being selected as District Teacher of the Year. A special thank you to our PTO for providing a wonderful luncheon! We also wished those leaving us the very best and recognized Dr. Wityk for her many years of dedicated service in education. Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer! #ArchieStrong

Lake Callahan capped off his season with a spot on the podium, earning an 8th-place finish in the 400-meter dash! Jackson Kash also wrapped up his senior season by competing in the long jump finals. Thank you, boys, for an incredible season and for representing Archie with pride! #ArchieStrong

Congratulations to our 4x200-meter relay team on placing 7th at the State Meet with a time of 1:31.81! Also, congratulations to Westyn Bryant on a great season in javelin. He came up just short of qualifying for the finals, wrapping up a strong sophomore campaign. Excited to see what’s ahead! #ArchieStrong

Field Day Reminders and Info!!

Tomorrow is field day! Students should wear their Archie Shirts provided by PTO, and there will be shirt signing this year. If you prefer your student’s shirt not be signed, please let your classroom teacher know and consider bringing a different one. Please send your student prepared for wet conditions, as there’s still water on the field. Bring extras like socks, shoes, and a change of clothes. Contact Coach Moore with any questions. Kindergarten had the best day at the zoo! They've been working hard over the past few weeks at researching a zoo animal, building their habitat at home with their family, and creating their animal with clay. Today, they finally got to see their animal choice in real life!
