This past week, Meah McCoy, Archie FFA member, competed in the Missouri Cattlemen's Association speech contest. Five of the officers also assisted with the Archie Veterans Day Assembly.
Mrs.Sturdevant and Mrs.Jackson's classes organized a K-5 service project this week.The elementary collected 548 items for David's Cupboard Ministry! The 3rd grade walked to the pantry & stocked shelves with the help of 4 parents, Mr.Jackson, Mr. Sturdevant & their teachers.

The Parents as Teachers playdate provided families with fall fun today. The new PAT space was filled with 48 in attendance! The kids strengthen their muscles through play by: scooping their own snacks and making an edible turkey, using tongs to put pom-poms in the turkey, drawing shapes in cool whip and several other activities.

A semi containing food products cut the turn short this morning and is currently stuck in the ditch. The Archie PD and the Sheriff's Dept are on site and handling the problem. No one was hurt.

Art club traveled to the Nelson Atkins Museum to attend the Dia De Los Muertos festival in kc. We were able to interact with the remembrance altar, see traditional dancing, hear live music, and join in other art experiences. We also got to try tamales and pan de Los muertos!
