The Archie FFA left bright and early yesterday for National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. We stopped at Casey, IL to see "The World's Largest Things". Today we attended the Opening Session and spent some time at the Convention and Expo

Archie Students Celebrate Red Ribbon Week!
Last week, Archie students celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a variety of fun and educational activities! Students dressed up and received items to remind them about making healthy choices.
In the Elementary School, students learned important lessons about medication safety and healthy eating habits.
High School students joined in the fun with a daily trivia contest, testing their knowledge about healthy lifestyles.
To wrap up the week, Evan Lite from MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) visited and spoke to students in grades 2–12 about the importance of making safe choices.
It was a great week of learning and celebrating healthy living at Archie!

This past weekend concluded the Whirlwind Marching Band season with the UCM Homecoming Parade. I am happy to announce that we received second place! I am so proud of these students. They really worked hard these past couple of months, and the results showed. A big thank you to the Moore family for pulling the band trailer all season for us.
The Archie FFA Trapshooting season came to an end last week. The Archie A Team finished 5th overall and the Archie B Team finished 7th overall. Congratulations to Brecklen Marcks for being the 10th high individual!
Varsity football with a big win over Liberal for their final regular season game of the year. They are also the UNDEFEATED WEMO Conference Champs! Next week is a bye week, then begins the post season.

Three in a row...for the third straight year, your Archie Lady Whirlwinds are the Class 1 District 12 Champions! And, as usual, our Pep Club showed up to support the team. Sectionals will be next Thursday, October 30, 2025. Location and opponent is still yet to be determined.
Our 5 preschool classes recently enjoyed a field trip to Red Barn Ranch. Farmer Matt taught them all about the pumpkin patch and farm animals. Of course playing in the huge corn pit and going down the slides was lots of fun!
A big district semi-final win for varsity volleyball over Midway tonight. They will play for the championship, tomorrow at 6:00 pm in the Archie Dome. It was also great to see some longtime Whirlwind fans in the crowd tonight. 🌪️💪🏼🏐
