On Friday, April 4th, the Archie 8-Man Championship Football Team celebrated with their family, friends, and community members. Scott Gaddie served as the Master of Ceremonies, welcoming guests and speakers. Representative Sherri Gallick presented each player and the school with a resolution. Archie alumni Erwin McDonnell presented the Humbird family with a memorial to honor #47, Miles Humbird. Brad Hocker returned to his alma mater to share a special message with the champions, recognizing those who have helped lay the foundation at Archie. Coach Hocker expressed his admiration for the team’s ability to overcome adversity. Coach Smith highlighted some of the season’s key moments and acknowledged the team’s determination. The evening concluded with the presentation of the championship rings! Achieving one championship is an incredible feat, but back-to-back championships is something most will never experience. Thank you to the parents and fans who supported this team throughout the season! We truly have an ArchieStrong community!
