The Archie R-V School District is currently accepting nominations for the 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year. One teacher from each building, primary and secondary, will be selected. Teachers that are nominated will be placed on a ballot if they are eligible for District Teacher of the Year. Support staff members will be placed on a ballot to be chosen to represent the district. Congratulations to the participating Archie Choir students who performed both solos and small ensembles at the Nevada Music Festival, achieving ratings of "excellent" and "outstanding"! Performers included the following: Alejandro Simpson, Julie Ammerman, Natalee Lowe, Ruth Sutton, Anevay Charles, Brooke Jacobs, and Portia Morrow. #ArchieStrong


The Archie R-V students and staff enjoyed the beautiful weather while viewing the solar eclipse! In 2017, the Class of 2024 experienced an eclipse in elementary school. We hope this is a day all students remember. #ArchieStrong









Today the ThinkFirst program came and presented to all of our high school students. We want to thank Kelly Narowski and Carl Van Winkle who came and shared their stories to help spread awareness of traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries from distracted and impaired driving. We hope all of our students listened and will stay safe behind the wheel!

The Harrisonville Golf Team beat Pleasant Hill yesterday afternoon in a very windy Dual. Bryson Wilkins was second overall.

Whirlwind families- On Monday, April 8th the students and staff will have the opportunity to safely view the solar eclipse. Safety glasses have been purchased and will be distributed on Monday. Attached you will find an informational document including an opt-out form should you choose for your child to not participate. Opt-out forms are due by Friday, April 5 to help staff plan accordingly. We hope this is an experience your child will always remember. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
