A semi containing food products cut the turn short this morning and is currently stuck in the ditch. The Archie PD and the Sheriff's Dept are on site and handling the problem. No one was hurt.
The Archie National Honor Society inducted it's new members tonight. Rachel Grimes a 2021 Archie graduate was the guest speaker. #ArchieStrong
The elementary is collecting canned and dry goods this week for our local food pantry.

Art club traveled to the Nelson Atkins Museum to attend the Dia De Los Muertos festival in kc. We were able to interact with the remembrance altar, see traditional dancing, hear live music, and join in other art experiences. We also got to try tamales and pan de Los muertos!
The JH boys won the Championship against Miami in the Hume Tournament! Congratulations Whirlwinds! A big shout out to our cheerleaders for their dedication this evening! #ArchieStrong
Day 3 of National FFA Convention. We toured Total Seed Production and Stuckey's Apple Orchard. The day ended with some Whirlwind football in the hotel lobby.

Day 2 of the National FFA Convention. We toured the My Garage museum in Illinois on the way out. Today, we attended the first general business session and career show. We finished off the day with a little axe throwing.
The JH Lady Whirlwinds fell to Drexel tonight at the Hume Tournament. They play Saturday at 4:15 for third place. The JH boys beat Ballard and will play for the Championship at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hume. #ArchieStrong

The Parents as Teachers program will be hosting an Infant Massage class in November. A certified Infant Massage Therapist will be in attendance to lead the event. Please share this event with anyone you know with an infant as all are invited, even if the family is not yet enrolled in the PAT program.
