The Lady Whirlwinds kicked off the District Tournament with a win over the Midway Vikings. The Lady Whirlwinds will continue play Wednesday @ 7:00 in Concordia.

We have a busy week starting today with District basketball and FFA week! The boys play at Archie and the girls play in Concordia. Check out the brackets posted on our app. The Board of Education meeting previously scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, will also begin at 5:00 pm rather than the usual 7:00 pm start time. Tomorrow Is also our 100th day of school! #ArchieStrong!
FFA Week as it always begins. Thanks to the Archie Evangel Church for hosting us. We also had a couple members attend their respective churches in official dress.
Spring Pictures moved to Tuesday, March 5th!
The first track practice will be on February 26th at the track. If weather is noncooperative we will have practice at the school. If a student has not played a sport this year they will need to fill out an annual doc before the first practice. If they have not had a physical in the past two years, they will need a new physical before starting. Please make sure athletes have tennis shoes and athletic shorts/ pants. A parent meeting for JH Track will occur February 26th after practice. We will also have an athlete meeting for JH during advisement on Wednesday. The kindergarten students conducted a push-and-pull experiment yesterday afternoon. They reported that science was cool and fun! #ArchieStrong
Our preschool classes took a field trip to the post office to mail Valentines this week. A short visit to the school library or Cass County library for a special story topped off the trip. Thank you to the postmaster and librarians for their time!#ArchieStrong
The Whirlwinds finished up the regular season tonight with Senior Night versus the Rich Hill Tigers. The JV Boys, JV Girls and Varsity Girls all came away with wins, while the Varsity Boys came up a touch short tonight. No to prepare for District next week!
Archie celebrated Senior night tonight. We would like to congratulate these Seniors on amazing HS careers. Thank you for all the memories and thrills! Good luck in all your future endeavors!

All three boys teams defeated Liberal tonight. The varsity girls won a nail-biter in the last second of the game with a three pointer made by Kaitlyn Newport! The JV girls fell short against the Bulldogs. #ArchieStrong

Girls will play at Concordia starting on Monday 2/19 at 5:00.
Boys will play at Archie starting on Tuesday 2/20 at 7:00.

The Whirlwinds took on the Prairie View Buffalos tonight. The JV Boys, JV Girls and Varsity Boys all came away with wins. The Varsity Girls fell just a touch short in a super close hard fought game!!
Tonight was Little League Night at the varsity basketball games. There were 123 little league players ranging from first to sixth grade. Thank you to the coaches that give their time to this league. #ArchieStrong
IMPORTANT REMINDERS/UPDATES: School will be in session on Wednesday, February 14th. We will have a blood drive sponsored by the FFA, Valentine parties for PK-5th grade, and carnation deliveries. We are also in session on Thursday, February 15th. This is a make-up snow day.
School will NOT be in session on Friday, February 16th, or Monday, February 19th.
