The Archie retired teachers gather each year for breakfast at Mama's kitchen on the first day of school. We appreciate the years of love and dedication that they gave to education. They were thankful for the class of 2001 and Curt and Maranda Morgan for buying their breakfast. Those in attendance were: Robert Kelsay, Linda Carol Tatman Logue, Marilyn Yoakum , Margaret Sears, Deanna Bradley, Diana Miller, Jeffrey Kramer , Brenda Jurgens, Pat Jurgens, Jennie Whiteside, Cheri Wilburn, Joan Blankenship Longworth, Peggy Staley Fuller, Josie Hiser, Cindy Burns and Billie Limpus .

Happy 1st Day of School! Parents- Reminder to send a refillable water bottle to school. Hydration is important in this heat. Buses do not have air conditioning. You may want to consider providing transportation with air conditioning these first few days.

For the past 15 years, you have helped us fill backpacks for over 700 children. Let's do it again this year by helping "Stuff the Bus" with school supplies for Archie students! School supply donations can be dropped off at the Archie Branch of Adrian Bank anytime before August 14, 2023. See the attached flyer for more information, and for what supplies are needed! There will be a school supply giveaway on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 6:00-7:00pm at the Archie United Methodist Church.
